Hankyu railway

There is the train called Hankyu in Kansai.
Hankyu train is outside the Umeda in Osaka Hruns toward Kyoto, Takarazuka, and koube.
Hankyu trains feature are all brown.Hankyu trains are all in brown to the new car.

In addition, the wood walls are also in the all car.

Ichizou kobayashi which was a world-famous businessman founded Hankyu.Hankyu is famous as Takarazuka Revue.Hankyu laid emphasis on development along the line and Tkarazuka Revue.
Hankyu took a blast of the recession after the bubble burst, too.
Recession, declining birthrate, and lost by passengers in JR line, decreases in passengers carried.
Restructuring of the real estate business and hotel business, and the closing of ''Takarazuka family land''.
Hankyu has Kyoto Line, Takarazuka Line, and Kobe Line mainly.Any lines go out of Umeda in Osaka.
Kyoto Line go to Kawaramachi in Kyoto, Takarazuka Line go to Takarazuka in Hyogo, and Kobe Line go to Sannomiya in Hyogo.

Advantages and disadvantage of railway

There are advantages and disadvantages the railways.

Railway is safety is high as compared with other transportations.
The number of automobile deaths and injuries in particular are 10 times more than a few differences.
Most railway accidents are collisions and injury at the crossing and the station.
The railways is the biggest feature of mass transportation which operated less energy.
This is less friction on the road when there is little resistance even from the railroad.
Addition, railway is quantity of carbon dioxide emissions is smaller, and it is, that is to say "environmentally friendly" transportation.

The disadvantage is that trains cannot stop immediately even if braked.
The reason is less frictional resistance from the road.
Railways can not go up and down on a sharp incline.
Therefore, they do not through the mountains to the root, or dig a tunnel has been taken or switch back to the subjects.
Also, it takes more time to recover from accidents and natural disasters the most obvious disadvantage the wind stops.
Many money for reconstruction and maintenance of facilities therefore, rural railways may become a barden for the railway companies to maintain.

Recently, because of the highway is cheaper, I'm worrying that the less people will use the train.
Are being abolishes rural railways and sleeper train.

Osaka loop line

There is a loop line like the Yamanote Line in Osaka. It is called ''Osaka loop line''.

The vehicle is slightly shorter than the Yamanote Line. In addition, Rapid and limited expresses run on Osaka loop line.
These rapid and limited expresses go to Nara area, Wakayama area and Kansai international airport.
The limited express toward Kansai international airport is called ''Haruka''.
There are three kinds of train cavs namely the ''Kuroshio'',''Super kuroshio'' and ''Ocean arrow'' as the limited Express bound to the Wakayama area.
The local train to make one lap of Osaka loop line is the orange train.

From Nishikujo toward Universal Studio Japan; ''Yumesaki line'' runs through. There is another train which starts Osaka and goes to Universal studio directly.
Among train cars running on the Yumesaki line, you may find a showy train runs.
This imitates the attraction of Universal studio japan indeed.

Alternatively, thereb are three kinds of ''Power of hollywood'', ''Sesame street'' and ''Woody wood peaker''.
Because I don't go to Kansai since August of the last year, oneself wants to go again!

Yamanote line


There is a railroad called Yamanote Line in Japanese capital, Tokyo.
I use it by attending school, too.
Yamanote Line is yellowwish green train.
However, it was the train all in brown at the time of the opening to traffic. In addition, the yellow train ran in 1960's.
It is an opportunity that postwar, a new model train was introduced into having consisted of brown trains in a yellow.
Until 1950's, we had an image to be brown in the train in japan.
Yamanote Line introduced yellow train to change that image.
But, I don't understand it well why I changed it in yellow green from yellow.

Yamanote Line greeted the 100th anniversary since it was named by this year.
A train all in brown is run in commemoration of it until the beginning of next month.
Many people are called ''chocolate train''.
because this train is only one will be lucky if you see it.

A day of raliroads


In Japan, October 14 is ''the day of railroads''.
This day of 1872 the first railroad was inaugurated between Shimbashi and Yokohama.
Many railroad events are held in a week including this date.
For example, ''the railroad festival'' was held in Hibiya park.
Also the "Railroad museum" was opened in Ohmiya on this day of 2007.
The first locomotive with a nickname called "yaemon", which opened to traffic, is placed Japan in this museum.
Because then Japan did not have technology a century ago, made railroads with support of the U.K.
The U.K. is a country where the railroad originaled, the reason is that British technology was good at that days.
It is said when surprised at having completed a railroad in only than the Meiji restoration several years in America.
The Japanese railroad of these events must become basic.
By the way, On June 12, 1872, a line between Shonagwa and Yokohama was temporary opened.
In addition, I move Shimbashi station of those days to another place, and Yokohama station of those days, it is it now with Sakuragicho station.

Narita Express


On the other hand, JR line does not lose, too.

JR line has begun to run some Narita Express by a new train from this month.
This train says "Series E259".
The Narita Express is a train departing for Narita Airport from Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Yokohama.

This train arrives at Narita Airport in about 1 hours when I leave Tokyo.
There is space to be able to put a big load in the inside of car.
In addition, this train makes a restroom big, and the barrier-free facilities are substantial, too.
When it compares it with an Skyliner, it is convinient to leave for Narita Airport from Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Yokohama, but it is a fault that a rate is high.
All Narita Express seem to become this train in future.
I want to pay attention to skyliner and Narita Express in future.

New Skyliner



I introduce a new Skyliner of Keisei Electric Railway which links Narita Airport to the downtown area of tokyo.

The trial run of a new Skyliner began from last month.
This train is going to make its debut with commencement of practice of Narita Shinkousoku Railway in about summer , next year.
When Narita Shinkousoku Railway is inaugurated , downtown area of tokyo and Narita Airport get possible to arrive in 36 minutes.

In fact, this train has the Umegaoka campus of the Kokushikan University and a common point.
It is that a person in charge of design is the same.
The person of the Kansai Yamamoto was in charge of both designs.
Kansai Yamamoto is a famous designer in worldwide.
I want to get on this new Skyliner early.

My profile


My name is Yushi Sakamoto.I now belong to the politics and economies department at Kokushikan University.
I am a big fan of railways.I like taking the photograth of the railroad.Optionally, I like doing the internet and taking photograths of the scenery.
I am working as a parttimer staff at the railroad station.My work is to guide the visitor at a ticket gate and do the security confirmation of the platform. The time for part-time job is early in the morning.
I live in Ohta city of Tokyo.Ohta city is famous by small factories in the town.In addition, Haneda Airport is another famous place.
